Season 13 Awards
Regionals LIVE and In the Wild Awards
Regional Event Medals and Pins
All eligible performers will receive the following, whether competing LIVE or In the Wild. Competitors must perform to be eligible to receive any medal or pin.
First, second, and third-place performances receive custom, Aerialympics-branded medals.
All Star first, second, and third-place performances receive larger custom, Aerialympics-branded medals that include the words, “All Star.”
All competitors who perform will receive an Aerialympics-branded pin customized for the event in which the performer is registered. One pin per performer per event, not per performance.
In addition to receiving medals and pins, all performers will be sent judge feedback from a panel of 3 judges. Some events will include collectible badges and lanyards. All events offer free viewing access to all available performance videos from the event, the opportunity to purchase the competition video for download, merchandise, and photos at select events.
Separate medals are given to each person in winning duet or parallel performances.
Ensemble medals are given to each performer in the ensemble.
We do not issue certificates of participation.
Performers who compete LIVE but don’t stay for awards must make arrangements to have their medal mailed by emailing us after the event.
Performers or teams are responsible for making sure we have the correct mailing address on file. If we have to re-mail any item, we will charge for shipping.

NEW THIS SEASON: We are working on All Star Elite rules and trophies. All Star Elite division(s) will only be available at our National Championships this season. Details will be released later this calendar year.
Special Awards
May or may not be given out at a regional qualifier or Nationals or both. These awards are all about special moments that catch the eye of the judges, staff, or host studios. May or may not be restricted to a single performance. Subject to change without notice.
Cirque du Aerialympics: Bring that old-school circus vibe to your performance!
Best Aesthetic: Costume! Makeup! Props! Give us the old visual flash-and-dash, and you could be rewarded.
Make it Theater: Does your character knock our socks off? Did you tell us a great story? That’s what this award is all about.
Wild Heart: Recognizes people who make a difference in the aerial community. Requires a nomination because I don’t know everything about everyone.
Powerhouse: Performances packed full of strength.
Studio Awards: Some of our host studios may opt to add awards that are special to them, such as the very meaningful “Missing You” award given out by the Warped Studio team in Season 10, or the locally-branded awards at Local Invitationals.
