Judge an Event
Judges are an essential part of the Aerialympics community, and you can now judge from anywhere in the world! If you are an experienced performer, instructor, or judge and can offer supportive, meaningful feedback to competitors, we would love to hear from you.
Requirements:
Competition experience
Teaching and judging experience
Comprehensive understanding of the apparatus and level you are interested in judging
Aerialympics judges include the following levels:
Provisional Judge: Accepted based on competition, teaching, and judging experience. Permitted to judge amateur divisions for the apparatus with which the judge has demonstrated comprehensive understanding.
Certified Judge: Approved based on all criteria listed for Provisional Judges, plus review of judge sheets (submitted via instructions in the Judge Manual or from actual judging as a Provisional Judge) by Judge Leadership. Permitted to judge amateur divisions for the apparatus with which the judge has demonstrated comprehensive understanding.
Certified All Star Judge: Approved based on all criteria listed for Provisional and Certified Judges. Judge Leadership will examine experience and judge sheets to verify knowledge of apparatus and judging (including the value of feedback offered) meets expectations for judges at an All Star level. Permitted to judge amateur and All Star divisions for the apparatus with which the judge has demonstrated comprehensive understanding.
Judge Leadership: By invitation, judges who have participated in Aerialympics judging for a meaningful period of time will be asked to join the Judge Leadership team. This group offers mentorship to judges and evaluates judge applications to ensure high quality judging and feedback for performers.

Certified Judges, Certified All Star Judges, and Judge Leadership will be paid for work (approximately what gymnastics judges are paid)
Certified All Star Judges, and Judge Leadership will be featured with a photo and bio on our website and on social media
