The freeze is the point after which nothing changes — not music, not divisions, not names. Anything still outstanding at the freeze means the performer is dropped, and nothing is refunded after it. Music and signed waivers are due one week before your freeze.

Apparatus are scheduled by day at regional events.

If you compete on more than one apparatus, plan for more than one day. A performer entered on silks and lyra competes Saturday and Sunday.
If Saturday and Sunday fill, we open slots on Friday 12 February. Plan for Friday if you are entering more than one apparatus.

Waivers
Performers competing LIVE sign two waivers. In the Wild performers sign the Aerialympics waiver only. Waivers for anyone under 18 must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
- The Aerialympics waiver — required of every performer, LIVE and In the Wild. Signed once per season.
- The Warped Studios waiver — required of LIVE performers only. If you already have one on file with Warped Studios, you do not need another.

Apparatus
Each apparatus is rigged from a single point. If your apparatus needs two points — static trapeze, for instance — bring a spreader bar and plan for a single-point rig. Parallel and small ensemble divisions run at this event, with up to three points available for small ensemble.
You are welcome to bring your own apparatus. Everything is inspected by our head rigger before use. If equipment is judged unsafe on site we may refuse to rig it, and neither Aerialympics nor the host studio is liable for problems you encounter using your own apparatus, even after it passes inspection.

Flight divisions run at this venue. The main point at Warped Studios is motorised, which is what Flight requires.
A crash mat is mandatory for every performer, at every level, LIVE and In the Wild. Mats are provided at this venue. Whenever you are suspended in the apparatus you must be over a mat.
Tickets
Everyone attending needs a ticket. Pricing is set by the host studio and is on their website — this is the cost that most often surprises families at the door, so check before you travel.
Badges and free entry
- Performers receive a badge giving free entry for the whole weekend, whether they compete on one day or more.
- Badges are not transferable, and additional badges are not issued on the event weekend. Request everything you need in advance.
- Coaches of independent performers buy a ticket.
Team Program
- One badge for every five competing members. One to five members is one badge, six to ten is two, and so on. Coaches attending on a team badge enter free for the whole weekend, but you must tell us in advance who is coming.
- Extra badges cost the price of a ticket. Email us with the number you need before the LIVE entries freeze on Wednesday 10 February.
- Coaches must be part of the Team Program to receive a badge.
Watching and video
- We do not live stream, and we ask that you do not either. Please do not photograph any performer who is not in your family or on your team.
- All performers and coaches get access to view available performances, granted automatically to the email addresses given at registration.
- Access opens roughly one week after the event and stays up for six weeks, after which videos are archived.
- Videos are view-only. Performers can buy a downloadable copy of their own performance, which is the easiest way to share it.

Health and safety
We set the conditions at the event — mats, rigging, apparatus inspection, and what may be performed at each level. Whether a particular performer is ready for a particular act is not ours to judge; that belongs to coaches and, for performers under 18, parents and guardians.
We do not keep a medic on staff. As at your own studio, we rely on local emergency services and call them when the situation warrants it. We recommend seeking the advice of a qualified health care provider after a fall, or after any impact to the head — a head impact does not always show itself in the first few minutes.
We follow local public health rules, which at present means no vaccine, masking or distancing requirements. Anyone who would rather control their own environment is welcome to enter In the Wild instead.

Workshops are open to anyone who meets the prerequisites, whether or not you are competing. A signed waiver is required either way.
