Invitations to Nationals

All performers may register to compete In the Wild. Invitations offer performers the opportunity to register to compete LIVE at Nationals in Kansas City. See the Pricing page for Nationals pricing.

This leaderboard includes Powerhouse performers who scored a minimum of 90% of the possible points for the level at which they competed at any regional event in Season 11, LIVE or In the Wild. (Note that some levels may be invited from the 87% mark to balance categories.) This table shows the points required to score a minimum of 90% in each level:

Performers on the leaderboard are guaranteed an invitation to Nationals. The first round of invitations will be sent shortly after the Florida event has completed.

Invitations may not be transferred.

When invitations are sent out, performers will be given a limited amount of time in which to accept the invitation. Acceptance will be demonstrated by placing a non-refundable down payment, which will be applied to the balance due. The remainder must be paid on or before the registration deadline.

Invited performers who do not follow the directions for accepting the invitation within the time frame allowed will be dropped from the LIVE invitation list and not permitted to register LIVE. They may still compete In the Wild, and the non-refundable down payment may also be applied to performances In the Wild. Any changes from LIVE to In the Wild that are made after the registration deadline will incur a change fee. See our Pricing page for details.

After the first round of invitations is accepted, a second round of invitations will be sent to those who scored very close to 90% in any of their performances. It will also include a selection of performers who participated in a large number of regional events. We value the tryers and want to offer a selection of them the opportunity to compete LIVE as well. The exact number of high-volume participants will be determined by the number of open slots at Nationals.

A final round of invitations will be sent after our final event, It will include Powerhouse performers from our final event and may include special invitations at the discretion of Aerialympics leadership.

For planning purposes, we are expecting to be able to put 60 silks performances onstage Saturday, 60 hammock/lyra/specialty performances onstage Sunday, and 30-45 performances from all divisions Friday. Awards will follow the standard from Regionals, with Silks awards announced Saturday and all others Sunday. Team ensemble pieces may go any day, regardless of apparatus.
